Archives of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims to be transported from Georgia to Azerbaijan

The archives of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims covering the period
from 1823 to 1918 will be transported from Georgia to Azerbaijan, Armenia Today reports. The documents belong to the Caucasian Muslims Office
(CMO), which operated until the revolution in Tbilisi.

The head of the archives, Doctor of Historical Sciences Professor Anar
Iskenderli, said that four thousand archival folios have already been
transported to Baku. The rest of the documents are expected to be
transported by the end of 2012.
