Buranovskiye Babushki to sing in Azerbaijani

Buranovskiye Babushki from Udmurtia plan to sing in Azerbaijani at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, RIA Novosti cites their press secretary Svetlana Syrygina as saying.

Azerbaijanis from Udmurtia have given them some Azerbaijani songs which are being translated into Russian.

Buranovskiye Babushki were elected on March 7-8 via mobile votes. They got more votes than Russian winner of the song contest Dima Bilan, Yulia Volkova from t.A.T.u., opera singer Aida and Timati, who got the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

The singers from Udmurtia will perform the Party for Everyone song. Music was made by their co-producer Victor Drobysh. The text was composed by themselves and Mary Susan Applegate, a poet.
