St. Petersburg has held a presentation of Professor Rudolf Ivanov’s collection called “Kelb-Ali-khan of Nakhchivan. His age and heritage. Historic documental”, Trend reports.
The presentation was organized by the regional office of the Society of Friends of Azerbaijanis “Nakhchivan” and the Azerbaijani General Consulate in St. Petersburg.
Chairman of the society Idris Gakhramanov described the works of the professor, his contribution of Russian-Azerbaijani ties, research and studies of Nakhchivan khans in the last 40 years.
Gudsi Osmanov, Azerbaijani Consul General to St. Petersburg, talked about the role of the works.
Yelena Kiseleva, a legislative of St. Petersburg, noted the contribution of Ivanov and his remarkable studies.
Rudolf Ivanov thanked the Society of Friends of Azerbaijanis “Nakhchivan” and the first lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva.
Ivanov’s new book consists of 11 historic documentals on Nakhchivan khans and their role. The book marks the 80th anniversary of Ivanov. Rudolf Ivanov is a member of the International Academy of Informatization, the Journalists’ Union of Moscow, was awarded with the International Premium for Informatics, he is an honorary PhD of the Nakhchivan State University, of the Institute for History of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, an honorary member of the Azerbaijani Writers’ Union, was awarded with the Dostlug Order (Friendship Order) in Azerbaijan.
