Baku Crystal Hall is ready for "Eurovision-2012" contest

The construction of the Baku Crystal Hall concert and sports complex, where the "Eurovision-2012" will be held, has been completed

The show will be attended by 20 thousand people. The construction company has already prepared the arena and handed it over to the Brainpool company. Preparations for the contest begin today. At a press conference, it was reported that the construction of the Baku Crystal Hall began last fall.
 
The completion of construction of a large building in such a short time was made possible due to the parallel production, delivery and construction of three major components.

The official opening of the "Eurovision-2012" song contest will take place on May 19 at the EuroClub, Trend reports, quoting the official website of the competition.


On May 19 the operation of the Eurovillage will also start.


As VK has previously reported, the 57th "Eurovision" song contest will be held at the Baku Crystal Hall, near the State Flag area. In addition to 20,000 spectators in the hall, 16,000 guests will have an opportunity to watch the show on large screens during semi-finals and finals.


Azerbaijan gained the right to host the prestigious European song contest after its representatives Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal won the "Eurovision-2011" contest in May in Düsseldorf, Germany.
