Caucasus culture exhibition in Moscow

The Yekaterininsky Hall of the Big Palace of the State Natural Reserve Museum Tsaritsyno in Moscow will open an exhibition called “Caucasus Dictionary: Land and People”, RIA Dagestan reports.

Over 1400 rare showpieces will be available at 1050 square meters in 11 halls of the palace, including archeological artifacts, pictures of A.I. Kuinji, Y.Y. Lansere, M. Saryan, L. Gudiashvili, T. Salakhov, a collection of the Dagestan Visual Arts Museum, including works of I. Ayvazovsky, A. Orlovsky, F. Rubo, M. Vrubel, V. Serov, V. Polenov, V. Borisov-Musatov. The Dagestani State United Museum of A. Takho-Godi will present unique costumes.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, Mir Kavkaza Fund head Vladimir Soskiyev, head of the Moscow Cultural Department Sergey Kapkov, Deputy Culture Minister of Dagestan Badrijat Magomedgajiyeva, Dagestani State Secretary Takibat Mahmoudova and officials of Caucasus communities were invited for the exhibition.
