Iran to present Martyr Avini international literary award

Iran is slated to hold the 2nd edition of Martyr Avini Literary Award, which focuses on the theme of resistance and sacred defense, Press TV reports. 

Martyr Avini Literary Award, held to introduce the ‘Resistance Book of the Year’, at this year’s edition will present an international section. 

To introduce Martyr Avini Literary Award to world’s literary agencies, international authors and publishers, the goals and policies of the award will be explained at 64th Frankfurt International Book Fair in Germany that will be held in October, said managing director of the award and one of its organizers Mohammad Hossein Karimipour. 

The objects of the award are programmed to be presented in German, English and French on the board of the Award’s pavilion, Karimpour noted. 

The 2nd Martyr Avini Literary Award is planned to assess the books on the subject of resistance, which are released in Arabic, Urdu, Turkish, French and English, he added.
