Russian PM’s son enters university

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev’s son Ilia has entered the Legal Sub-department of Moscow State University of Lomonosov, RIA Novosti reports.

Ilia was the 24th in the list of new students. Entrance exams were organized on July 30 – August 4. The order on the nomination will be published on August 5.

Medvedev’s press secretary Natalya Timakova said that Ilia filed documents to several higher education centers. Medvedev said in Cheboksary in February that he would not pressure his son to choose a specific profession.

His son passed exams at the International Legal Sub-department of MGIMO.

Dmitry Medvedev graduated from the Legal Sub-department of Leningrad State University in 1987 and concluded his post-graduate studies there in 1990. He is a PhD and an assistant professor.
