Irada Zeynalova will replace Peter Tolstoy as the host of Voskresnoye Vremya on Channel One, Kommersant reports.
Zeynalova has been in TV industry since 1997, first as an editor, then a reporter of Vesti (VGTRK). She moved to Channel One in 2003 and received a Reporter’s TEFI Award in 2006. She became a reporter of the channel in London and has been supervising the Middle Eastern bureau of the channel since 2011.
Voskresnoye Vremya with Irada Zeynalova will be aired on September 9. Vesti Nedeli on Russia 1 will be broadcasted for the first time that day. Yevgeny Revenko will be replaced by Dmitry Kiselev.
