Pyatnitsky choir performs in Grozny

The State Theatre and Concert Hall in Grozny has hosted the famous academic
Russian Choir named after Pyatnitsky for the first time in the history
of Chechnya, Chechnya Today reports. The head of the choir, the
People's Artist of Russia, Laureate of the Russian Federation,
Professor Alexandra Permyakova greeted the Chechen audience before the
performance and recalled long-standing cultural ties between the choir
and Chechen singers.

Last year Chechnya hosted a concert of the Moiseev Dance Group.
