The new building of the Yerevan State Circus will be accomplished in 1.5 to 2 years, the chief architect of Yerevan, Narek Sargsyan said at a press conference. The Yerevan circus building was undermined on September 8 in order to construct a modern complex with underground parking on its place. It is assumed that the new building will accomodate more people – 2050 compared to 1563 in the previous building.
"Most of it (the building) will be the same, but more beautiful," - said Sargsyan.
The former circus building was built in 1962.
