Farhad Agamaliyev, a notable journalist, writer and screenwriter, has died in Moscow at the age of 66.
Agamaliyev was born in Baku in 1946. He graduated at the All-Union State Institute for Cinematography. He was a cinema observer of the Sovetskaya Kultura paper, Editor-in-Chief of Panorama Azerbaijana paprt and Vostochny Express magazine. He was a spokesman of the Azerbaijani embassy in Russia in 1993-2004.
Agamaliyev worked at the All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress, cooperated with the Baku Magazine. A book called “The Big Time of Ordubad” was published basing on his works.
