Grozny has rounded up the 1st Interregional Festival of Golos Kavkaza dedicated to Akhmat Haji Kadyrov, the first Chechen President and Hero of Russia. Chechen Minister for National Policy, Press and Information Murat Tagiyev, Culture Minister Dikalu Muzakayev, Deputy Chief of Presidential Administration and government Adnan Nagayev, artists and radio staff attended the ceremony, the Chechen government reports.
Guests and participants arrived from 11 Russian regions.

Alexander Dudchenko, editor of Dagestan Radio Strana Gor won the Daily Information Program nomination, Natalya Galkina (Volgograd), Editor-in-Chief of Novaya Volna, and Khedia Tochiyeva, a radio host of the Put Radio Station of Kadyrov, got the second position. Roman Bekbulov, director of Dorozhnoye Radio Astrakhani, and Yekaterina Bulatova, an editor of Don-TR of the Rostov Region, got the third position.
Tatyana Gladchenko, a correspondent of Grozny Radio won the Thematic Program nomination. Tamara Khadonova and Lidia Khadartseva of Alania TV won the second position. Natalya Fateyeva, Editor-in-Chief of Stavropolie TV, and Natalya Yusupova, a correspondent of Kabardino-Balkaria Radio, won the third position.
M. Tagiyev awarded Roza Elmurzayeva with a prize of Golos Kavkaza for her 55 years of journalism.
18 radio stations of the North Caucasus and Russia’s South took part in the contest.
The judges included officials of such radio stations as Strana Gor (Dagestan), Severnaya Ossetia-Alania, Stavropolie, Vaynakh and Grozny. The festival will be annual.
