Krasnodar Museum of Felitsyn presents new collection

 

About 5,000 ancient items confiscated from criminals have been presented the Krasnodar Archeological Museum of Felitsyn, RIA Novosti reports.

Mikhail Vlasenko, head of the Russian FSB Directorate in the Krasnodar Territory, said that six people were detained for stealing artifacts.

300 items were made of gold and 300 of silver. Some are unique glass items. The artifacts include necklaces (late 1st millennium BC – 1st millennium AD), a silver cup (12th century), jewelry (9-10th centuries), a bronze pot (1st century BC – 1st century AD), swords (5-6th centuries BC), mirrors (1st millennium AD), arrowheads (13-15th centuries) and etc.
