Vandals damaged monument to Frunzik Mkrtchyan erected in Yerevan last week

A monument to the famous Armenian actor Frunzik Mkrtchyan was removed
from Aznavour Square in the center of Yerevan after it was
discovered damaged, "News-Armenia" reports.


The Office for Public Relations of the Yerevan Municipality
refused to comment on the situation over the phone. Earlier, the
Yerevan Municipality reported that video cameras will be installed on
the monuments to Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents and Frunzik
Mkrtchyan.
