Iran will hold an Azerbaijani Cultural Festival after Nowruz in 2013. Azerbaijani Minister for Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev and Iranian Minister for Culture and Islamic Orientation Muhammed Hussein signed an agreement to host the festival, as stated by Muhammedali Shamsipur, an advisor of the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan, on Monday, Trend reports.
The festival will be held in Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz and Ardebil.
The sides agreed to hold the festival in turns and to have it last from 7-10 days.
Azerbaijan will host the Iranian Cultural Festival in Baku, Sheki, Mingyachevir and other large cities.
The ministers discussed the cooperation of film-makers to broadcast Iranian films and series in Azerbaijan. Shamsipur added that they had reached an agreement to host an Iranian Film Festival in Azerbaijan in the next 3-4 months.
Iran will hold an international conference on medical tourism in 2013, attended by the deputy minister for culture and tourism of Azerbaijan.
