Victor Sadovnichy, head of the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, and Anatoly Pakhomov, head of the Sochi city administration, have signed a cooperation deal for science and education.
The document will boost science and research potential of the resort. Gifted children will receive support, the sides will cooperate in professional orientation of young people in Sochi, informing about the university, organization of seminars and conferences and formation of staff reserves.
Sochi opened the Russian International Olympic University. It has held seminars for Olympic hospitality attended by President of the Sochi 2014 Organization Committee Dmitry Chernyshenko and a large forum for nuclear-free environment attended by international experts.
