The Tbilisi Puppet Theater of Rezo Gabriadze has started a visit to Moscow until November 11. It will perform at the Studio of Theater Art on the Strastnoy Avenue with performances of Ramona and the Stalingrad Battle plays, ITAR-TASS reports.
Gabriadze wrote scripts for over 35 films. He is also a drama theater director notorious in France, Switzerland and the US. He makes sculptures, graphic works. Gabriadze made the monuments of Chizhik-Pyzhik and Nose of Major Kovalyov in Saint-Petersburg and Rabinovich in Odessa. Part of his works were demonstrated at the State Museum of Pushkin in Moscow in October.
The puppet theater was founded in Tbilisi in 1981. Gabriadze made all the puppets humself.
He plans to make performances in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Perm, Rostov, Samara, Novosibirsk, Kiev and Prague.
