The first Spanish version of Persian epic poet Ferdowsi’s masterpiece The Shahnameh is slated to be unveiled in South American country of Venezuela, Press TV reports.
The book was translated with the cooperation of Iranian Society of Cultural Works affiliated to Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) and the countries of Venezuela and Bolivia, Mehr News Agency quotes the deputy head of ICHHTO for international affairs, Hojjatoleslam Mohammad Javad Adabi as saying.
The book is to be available for those Spanish-speaking people who are interested in Persian literature.
The translated book will open the window of Persian literature to Spanish-speaking people in the world, Adabi noted.
