The State Kremlin Palace has held a concert dedicated to Eid al-Adha for the fifth year. Chairman of the Council of Russian Muftis, Ravil Gaynutdin, made the opening speech and noted the importance of attendance of people from Russian republics, CIS states and guests from distant countries.
Rushan Abbyasov, Deputy Chairman of the council, said that the concert was dedicated to Eid al-Adha the Tolerance Day marked on November 16.
Alexander Torshin, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council; Murat Zyazikov, Deputy Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the CFD; Amir Gallyamov, Minister for Physical Education, Sports, Tourism and Youth Affairs of the Moscow Region attended the concert. About 6,000 people arrived.
National and foreign performers took part in the concert. Buranovskiye Babushki of the Eurovision-2012 Song Contest sung in the Tatar language. Naili Fatekhova and the Medina Group performed. Foreigner performers arrived from Iran, Indonesia and other states.
