Azerbaijani actor Yashar Nuri died last night.
He was born to Mamedsadykh Nuriyev on September 3, 1951, and played his first role at the age of 11 at the Azerbaijani State Theater of Music Comedy.
Nuri graduated at school N173 in Baku and entered the Cinema Department of the Azerbaijani State Art Institute. Rza Takhmasib and Aliheydar Alekperov were his teachers.
He became an actor at the Azerbaijani State Academic Theater in 1974 and the People's Artist of Azerbaijan in 1989. He was awarded with the Shokhret Order for his artistic talents.
