Armenian musician Jivan Gasparyan will compose the soundtrack for Edgar Wright’s “The World’s End” trilogy using duduk, News Armenia reports.
Wright has been making the film for 3 years and plans to release it in 2013.
Gasparyan is a professor at the Yerevan State Conservatory of Komitas. He is the unofficial king of duduk and has concerts all over the world. Duduk is a pipe with 9 holes. It is a common instrument in the Caucasus, Middle East and the Balkan Peninsula.
