Iranian film festival to be held in Prague

The second edition of non-competitive Iranian film festival is planned to be held in the Czech capital city of Prague to present the country’s cinema, Press TV reports. 


The festival is scheduled to be held in several sections focusing on the subject about children.

The screen works created by the Iranian auteurs such as Abbas Kiarostami, Nasser Taqvaie, Bahram Beyzaie, Amir Naderi and Ebrahim Forouzesh are among the festival’s line up.

At this year’s program one night will be dedicated to Afghan cinema and one particular section is programmed to present a number of the remarkable Iranian animations.

The festival is also to screen some foreign movies that have link to Iranian cinema.
