Young dancers from the Dagestani “Hasavyurt” dance company have participated in the traditional annual festival “Young Russian culture in Italy”, reports RIA-Dagestan.
The company opened the festival in Villa Abamelek. Among the guests were the president of the Biennial in Venice, Paolo Baratta, and the art director of the Venice Film Festival, Marco Muller. The festival was initiated in 2001 by the Social and Cultural Initiative Fund and is under patronage of Svetlana Medvedev, wife of the Russian president.
