Dagestan will mark the International Mother Language Day. The Dagestani Institute for Skill Improvement of Pedagogue Staff will host the 3rd contest of the republic to choose the best reader of Dagestani authors on February 21, RIA Dagestan reports.
The Dagestani Ministry for Education and Science wants to find gifted children, promote national literature, develop culture of speech, reading skills.
Students of grades 10 and 11 will be nominated in 9 languages.
