Iranian actor and filmmaker Ali Mosaffa’s latest drama The Last Step has been selected to compete at the two international film festivals, Press TV reports.
Mosaffa’s acclaimed movie is to be screened at the Special Screening section of the Osaka Asian Film Festival in Japan that will be held from March 8 to 17.
The film is also scheduled to be presented at the 18th Vilnius International Film Festival in Lithuania which will take place from March 14 through 28, 2013.
Adapted from James Joyce's short story The Dead, the film recounts the story of a successful actress and the challenges she faces at work after the death of her husband.
