A Russian-Lezgian dictionary with about 40,000 words and phraseology units has been released, as stated by Ayshat Khabibov, spokesman of the Dagestani Science Center of the RAS.
The book includes a list of geographic names of Dagestan. It is part of the series of dictionaries of the Institute for Language, Literature and Art named after G. Tsadasy. Composition of the dictionary took 10 years.
The first Russian-Lezgian dictionary was published in 1950. The new release adds 200 names and 350 articles.
