Iran plans on becoming a space power. The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, declared that Tehran intends to launch its first manned spacecraft by 2019. The Iranian leader added that this flight was initially planned for 2035, but that the terms were reviewed, RSN informs.
