The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has launched own TV channel. SOCAR Media has purchased ATV International, renamed to the Caspian Broadcasting Company (CBC), Trend reports.
SOCAR Vice President Khalig Mamedov said that the company will work on the public opinion.
Mamedov noted that the channel will broadcast in different languages, only 10% of its shows will be in Azerbaijani.
Director of the channel Azer Khalilov said that they will promote the national idea of Azerbaijan, tolerance and information about Nagorno-Karabakh.
