Jamil Guliyev, director of the Azerbaijani State Cinema Fund, Director of the Mədəniyyət TV Channel, has become the Director General of the Azerbaijani Public Television and Radio (ITV).
Shamil Shafiyev, Nijat Mustafayev and Emin Guseynov were other candidates for the position.
Guliyev will replace Ismail Omarov.
The official noted that the Mədəniyyət TV Channel will continue its project, most likely under a new director general.
