A park named after Heydar Aliyev has opened near the Azerbaijani Embassy in Kiev, NBN reports.
President of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev, Ukrainian Vice Premier Constantine Grishchenko, Ukrainian ex-President Leonid Kuchma, Azerbaijani Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Ukraine Eynullah Madatli and other officials attended the opening of the park.
The park will be open from 8.00 am. It has free wi-fi connection. It covers about 0.5 hectares of land. About $4 million were spent on its construction. Azerbaijani, Ukrainian, Italian and German architects designed the park.
SOCAR financed the construction of the park.
