Georgian Defense Minister Irakly Alasania has spent Easter together with peacekeepers in Afghanistan, Trend reports.
Georgian Brigadier-General Vakhtang Kapanadze, Georgian Deputy Chief of Staff, Irakly Gegechkori, Deputy Defense Minister, and Vako Avaliani, Alasania’s advisor visited the 42nd and 33rd battalions of Georgia at the French base in Kabul to celebrate Easter.
The delegation attended prayers at the Shirgaz base organized by Father David.
