Yerevan hosted the all-Armenian performance art forum within the fourth all-Armenian festival ‘Single nation, single culture’, News Armenia reports, citing the press-service of the Ministry of Communities.
Minister Granush Akopyan spoke in her speech about the importance of preserving national identity. She offered the organization of dancing and singing contests for individual performers and the establishment of a coordination group to work with the problems of dancing groups.
The festival takes place once every two years and was first held in 2004. Armenian musicians, theatre groups and ensembles from various countries participate in the event.
