Gerard Depardieu, a French actor with Russian citizenship, will star in the film Biryuza (Turquoise, a film originally called The Father’s Heart), RIA Novosti reports.
Depardieu will star as the a father whose son gets killed in Russia. The father arrives in Moscow to find the murderers and have vengeance. The film will be shot in Chechnya and Moscow.
Besides Depardieu, British actress Elizabeth Hurley will star. The film is directed by Philipp Martinez. Arnault Frilley is the general producer of the film.
