Baku hosts the 9th Republican competition "Springs of the Soul"

The 9th Republican competition "Springs of the Soul" for the best performance of Russian music, song and dance has started in the Center of Russian Culture of the Russian community of Azerbaijan, the press service of the Russian information and cultural center reports. The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Russian Community of Azerbaijan and Milli Majlis deputy Mikhail Zabelin, and the representative of Rus-Cooperation in Azerbaijan, Valentin Denisov. The jury includes prominent figures of culture in Azerbaijan - associate professor of the Baku Music Academy and director of the Center for Russian Culture, Svetlana Barinova, National Artist of Azerbaijan, Natavan Sheikhova, composer Zulfuqarov Jahangir, professor of the Baku Music Academy, Tsiala Tsinamdzgvarishvili and others.During the week, the contestants will compete in the categories "classical instrumental music and vocal", "professional and amateur pop song", "Russian folk dance", "Russian folk song".
