A decision to initiate a tender for creating a TV channel specializing in cultural programmes was initiated during a session of the Azerbaijani National Council, reports Trend. The realities of television and radio broadcasting were discussed at the session. It was pointed out that lots of entertainment programmes exist, but there is a lack of intellectual programmes. The tender will be held from the 4th of August to the 4th of September to create a cultural channel on the territory of Baku and Apsheron on the 44 frequency.
