Russian-Azerbaijani children's camp has opened on the shore of the Caspian Sea

The international children’s camp "Friendship" opened yesterday, on the Day of Russia, at the recreation center "Nabran Water Park" in the Azerbaijani village of Nabran, located in the Khachmaz region on the Caspian Sea. The camp is designed for Azerbaijani and Russian children.

The ceremonial line was greeted by the Milli Majlis deputy, Chairman of the Russian community of Azerbaijan, Mikhail Zabelin; by the Archbishop of Baku and Azerbaijan, Alexander; by the council of the Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan and the head of the Russian Cooperation in Azerbaijan, Valentin Denisov; as well as by the Vice-President of the Federal National-Cultural Autonomy of Russia’s Azerbaijanis, Rafael Babaev; by the representatives of the Khachmaz regional administration and by the members of the Russian community.

Camp participants presented a children's festive concert, prepared with the support of the Cultural Center of the Russian community.

According to current plans, 60 children from single-parent families and orphanages of Azerbaijan and Russia will have a rest in the camp within three weeks. Among other things, children will take a tour to the most picturesque places of Azerbaijan and Baku.
