Azerbaijani People’s Artist Siyavush Aslan died in Baku last night. The last respects will be paid to him at the Azerbaijani Academic Drama Theater, Trend reports.
Aslan was born on September 5, 1935. He worked at the Muzkomedia pop group in 1954 and moved to the Gubinsky Drama Theater. He was the top actor of the State Music Comedy Theater.
Aslan worked at the Academic Drama Theater since 1984. He starred in over 100 TV plays. He became the Honored Artist of Azerbaijan in 1974 and People’s Artist in 1982. He received the Sharaf Order on June 25, 2013.
