Gyumri is hosting the first Duet International Theater Festival with the play called “Café “Life in the Pink Color” of the Moscow Drama Theater. It will be concluded with the “Heir” of the Kiev Academic Workshop of Theater Art Suzirya, RIA Novosti reports.
Plays will be performed at the Drama Theater named after V. Achemyan and the Gyumri Academy of Arts. About 20 groups of performers will take part.
Armenian Deputy Culture Minister Artur Pogosyan said that the idea for the festival had come from president of the festival director Nikolai Tsaturyan. It was organized by the Armenian Culture ministry and the Gyumri State Drama Theater of Vardan Achemyan, supported by the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of CIS States.
