Sergei Dorenko resigns from the Russian News Service.

Chief editor of Russian News Service Sergei Dorenko has resigned to devote more time to his family, RNS reports. "Sergei Dorenko's resignation is motivated by his wish to spend more time with his family," according to a statement posted on the RSN website.

According to the RSN, "Aram Gabrelyanov, the new CEO of the RNS, and Sergei Dorenko, chief editor of the radio station, came to a consensus decision that Dorenko will resign his chief editor position, but continue anchoring the morning program  "Wake-up."

The duties of the chief editor will be performed by Marat Voloshin, who  up to now worked in the position of first deputy editor in chief,  according the RSN website.
