Culture ministers of Eastern Partnership meet in Tbilisi

Androullah Vasiliou, European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth, culture ministers of the Eastern Partnership, Forum of the Civil Society of the Eastern Partnership, UNESCO, Council of Europe have attended a conference in Tbilisi, Interfax reports.

Delegations from the EU, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine took part in the talks to discuss problems of cultural development.

The sides agreed to take new measures to reform the cultural policy, inter-department cooperation and pay more attention to impact of culture on development of economy and stability.

A declaration was passed at the conference.
