Iranian film director Asghar Farhadi’s new drama 'The Past' has taken a top award at the 2013 Durban International Film Festival held in South Africa, Iranian state-run media outlet Press TV reports.
Farhadi's film received the Best Screenplay Award of the 34th edition of the festival held in the city of Durban, the news agency informs.
