Morning prayers were started at the Teze Pir Mosque of Baku to mark the end of fasting of Eid ul-Fitr. Mukhammedgali Khuzin, Mufti of the Perm Territory, said that Eid ul-Fitr was a very important event for any Muslim. He compared it with the exam of life when people deprive themselves of certain food, drinks, entertainment, bad thoughts and show obedience.
The official emphasized that followers of other religions were congratulating Muslims. Khuzin noted that governor of the Perm Territory, Perm, Russian government congratulated Muslims and noted the achievements of the Muslim community in strengthening peace, tolerance, good relations with other confessions.
