The Institute for Archeology and Ethnography of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences found remains of Caucasian Albania in an expedition in the Sheki, Gakha and Oguz Districts, Trend reports.
Burials were found at the Yonjaly Necropolis in Fazil (Sheki District). Five monuments have been found in the area. The Ministry for Culture and Tourism has been protecting them since 2002.
