Iranian playwright and stage director Chista Yasrebi is going to create a modernized version of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, Iranian state-run news agency Press TV reports.
Yasrebi’s theatre production is expected to chronicle the lives of four generations of Iranian youth over the course of four decades.
The play will be presented in the form of a solo performance, during which the whole story is narrated by one character, who will represent 15 characters, Yasrebi explains.
