The History Faculty of the MSU, North-South Center for Political Analysis and Turkish universities will attend an international conference entitled “Caucasus War of the 19th century: Realpolitik” in early October.
Attendants of the talks will discuss merging of Russia and the Caucasus, the Eastern Question, territorial and cultural development of the Russian Empire in the 19th century. They will make recommendations for science communities to give an impartial image of interaction of Russian and Caucasus peoples in the 19th century.
The conference will be the first event in the set of round-table conferences and seminars in 2013-2014, dedicated to history of Caucasus peoples.
