Cossack culture festival to be held in Moscow

The third Cossack culture festival "The Cossack Village of Moscow" is going to be held in the Russian capital this weekend. The event is organized by the city's committee for Cossack affairs.

According to the head of the committee, Leonid Makurov, such events are held so that the Cossack people are able to demonstrate their rich culture and their achievements.

"These events allow Cossacks to show what they have achieved for centuries," he said.
