Asif Gajiyev, President of the Baku Slav University, said that he will visit the Tula State Pedagogic University named after Leo Tolstoy on October 2 to sign a cooperation agreement, Trend reports.
The universities will exchange teachers, students, organize summer schools, train students and teachers.
Vladimir Panin, President of the Tula university, noted that the education center had contacts with universities of over 40 states.
Valentin Denisov, head of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Azerbaijan, said that they were preparing programs for development of the Russian language in Azerbaijan. The programs will be presented to the Azerbaijani Education Ministry.
Rossotrudnichestvo plans to hold forums in Russian in Ganja and Khachmaz.
