Boris Zhelezov, a scientist of the Department for Research and Developments at the Education Institute of the HSE, said that Russia had no legal obstacles to form network universities to train staff for Eurasian space.
He reminded about the SCO University with China being part of it, the CIS University, Russian-Kyrgyz Technical University. The expert noted that barriers for recognition of diplomas were being lifted within the framework of the Customs Union.
Zheleznov expressed hope that Belarus and Kazakhstan, supplemented by Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Ukraine in the future would cooperate in developing the education system. He added that one of the goals was to increase the flow of foreign students studying in Russia for free.
