Moscow to host a roundtable on Circassian culture

Tomorrow, on October 8, the international multimedia press center of RIA-Novosti will host a round table discussion on "Culture and heritage of the Circassians in contemporary Russia and abroad: the edges of state policy."

The round table will be attended by Deputy director of the Rossotrudnichestvo, Georgy Muradov, the rector of the Kabardino-Balkar State University, Barasbi Karamurzov, the vice-president of the International Circassian Association, the chairman of "Adyghe Khasa" Chachuh Majid and many others.

The participants will discuss the role of ties with the heritage in the preservation of the Circassian language and culture and programs aimed at preserving this culture on the federal and regional level.

Alexei Vlasov, the director of the Political Science Center "North-South," editor-in-chief of Vestnik Kavkaza will be the moderator of the discussion.
