North Ossetian Leader Taymuraz Mamsurov has awarded young writers and poets with the Misost Kamberdiyev Premiums, named after the founder of Ossetian poetry, Interfax reports.
The premium was set in April 2013 to encourage amateur writers. It is granted in two nominations twice a year and totals 50,000 rubles.
The ceremony of awards coincides with the birthday of Kosta Khetagorov, a famous Ossetian poet, playwright and enlightener.
